Kalend

Privacy policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

The short version: we collect as little as possible, we store it in Switzerland, and we never sell it. This policy explains what we collect on this website and on the Kalend platform, why, and the rights you have over it.

01 Who we are

Kalend is a Swiss platform for building and publishing interactive digital annual reports. We are the controller for the data described in this policy. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.

02 What we collect on this website

This marketing website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no third-party trackers. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting; they are rotated automatically and used for nothing else.

Your display preference (light or dark theme) is stored in your own browser and never transmitted to us.

If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship.

03 Booking a demo

Demo calls are scheduled through Calendly. When you book a slot, the details you enter (name, email, chosen time) are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy, and shared with us so we can hold the meeting. We use them for nothing else.

04 Data on the platform

Customers using the Kalend platform have an account with a name, email address and role. Report content, images and settings belong to the customer that created them; we process them only to provide the service.

We never sell personal data, and we never use customer content for anything other than operating the platform.

05 Readership analytics on published reports

Published reports measure readership without cookies and without personal data: page views and downloads are counted at request time, in aggregate form only. No identifier is stored that could single out an individual reader, and no third-party analytics service is involved. Every published report links to its own privacy notice describing this in detail.

06 Where your data lives

The platform and all customer data are hosted in Switzerland, on Swiss infrastructure. Data does not leave Switzerland except where you use an external service yourself (for example Calendly when booking a demo).

07 Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

08 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Substantial changes affecting platform customers are announced to them directly.
